PerformancePoint 2007

PerformancePoint Server 2007 started out life as Business Scorecard Manager and was a separate server product with client access licenses (CALs). In 2008, Microsoft announced it was being discontinued as a standalone product. The Scorecarding, Monitoring and Analysis capabilities have been merged into SharePoint 2010 as an Enterprise site collection feature -  PerformancePoint Services. The Planning module has been retired and the source code released under restricted license for ongoing use (unsupported). The Forecasting module has been moved into a new Management Report product for Dynamics ERP.

Following the announcement in January 2008, if you were licensed to use SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise Edition you could also use Performance Point Server 2007.
