Three types of service are available for assisting with SharePoint projects: Evaluations, Planning and Deployment, and Building Solutions:

Evaluating SharePoint

Short talks, presentations and workshops are available, both onsite and online, to assist with
evaluating SharePoint, whether it is a review prior to committing investment, understanding
how features work, best practice guidance or training.

  Fees* for events Online (2 – 8 places) Onsite (6 – 12 places)
  90 mins session £95 per attendee
  1/2 day (3 hours) £195 per attendee £195 per attendee
  Full day (6 hours + lunch) £325 per attendee

Online events can be requested on demand provided at least 2 attendees register. The event will
be scheduled 40 days in advance to allow others to attend.  Events can be held privately for an
organisation with set fees based on 4 people attending. Private events delivered onsite may
incur an additional fee to cover travel.

We also create and deliver presentations for external events. Please contact us for more details.

Planning and Deployment

Workshops and consulting advice are available to assist with planning and deploying SharePoint for intranets, extranets, collaborative working, business intelligence and social networks. Activities can include requirements gathering, prototypes, accelerated design workshops, architecture and design, training and governance to assist adoption and manage how the platform evolves.

Architecture includes physical, logical, information and design, such as: recommended hardware, software and content storage requirements, server and site topologies, services configuration
(search, user profiles etc.); navigation, shared metadata, site templates and page layouts.

  Consulting Fees* range from £750 to £950 per day, based on the type and quantity of activities

Building Solutions

Once you’ve got a SharePoint platform in place, creating solutions using ‘out of the box’ features
can help improve productivity, assist knowledge capture and re-use, and support data-based and collaborative decision making. We can assist with design, build, documention and training for solutions that leverage SharePoint and Office.

Popular solutions include: Using InfoPath and workflows to replace and automate paper-based processes; Creating collaborative workspaces for team and project work; Implementing enterprise search to improve findability of people as well as information; Business intelligence dashboards to assist decision-making.

  Fees* typically range from £1,800 to £9,500 per solution including design and documentation

Joining DotsServices are delivered by Joining Dots Ltd and include solutions built using SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Server 2007 and may include related Microsoft products and online services.
